I’ve been working on a big web-based application pretty much full-time since January. In March, my client decided to hire another developer and made an offer to someone who I’d recommended, a person who was highly thought of by his former boss and who seemed a good “fit” in terms of skills and personality.

Grandparents Day

Emmeline’s elementary school is having a Grandparents Day this morning, not in synch with the “official” date, September 12 this year, but presumably a community outreach effort to give the youngsters something to think about besides how nice it would be to play outside rather than to be stuck in a classroom.
