In fact, McCain for Attorney General or Secretary of State, and let’s do away with term limits in this case of this particular public official.
I idolize John McCain, even if he is not pro-choice. I DON’T CARE. Senator McCain “gets it” in a way that no other public official does, by his unadorned, courageous understanding and articulation of the concerns of average voters and average citizens.
For example, today, he “urged” the FTC to do more to block spam – if not by enforcement of existing laws against the spammers themselves, then by “going after” the businesses that hire spammers to do their nasty marketing for them.
Furthermore, McCain urged the FBI to focus on spammers that concentrate on child porn. Although this may offend the ACLU and others who seem to have lost their common sense, McCain characterized child pornography as “the most disgusting aspect of this whole spam situation.”
God bless this man, he’s the reason some of us haven’t totally given up on the potential for government to serve as an example of “the best and the brightest”. I love this man. May he live long and prosper.
