We saw Dennis Stroughmatt and Rob Krumm at the Woods Hole Community Hall last Sunday. A real “musical odyssey”, and we signed up to volunteer at the Folk Music Society’s next concert.
Ron spent all yesterday going through 30 years of paperwork – and finished!
Ron, Emme and I attended a Fukushima memorial on Falmouth Green today, followed by a potluck at the Moonakis.
I blew off two other events, a Code Camp at NERD and a Startup Weekend. It was a good call, though, I got a tremendous amount done and supported some people I like and respect.
I also did 3 loads of laundry and emptied at least 5 more boxes of Ron’s belongings. I’ve set up most of his books and his DVDs. We think we have all of the CDs. Unfortunately, a lot are missing.
Ron has promised to go through the boxes of paperwork for shredding. That will be fantastic.
No yard work this weekend, there was very little debris from the last storm.
Ron is always cold, and he’s resisted using an electric blanket all winter.
I got sick of listening to his moans and groans last night, so put it on the bed anyway. He loves it.
I called the Fairgrounds today about the damnable snowmobiles and ATVs.
Ron found out that he has a life insurance policy with a waiver of premium. Unbelievable.
We straightened out his banking alerts. He’d set them up incorrectly, so our understanding bank forgave $105 of overdraft charges.
How anyone could be so befuddled about financial affairs is beyond me.
I have an idea of where to put a new garden, in the wet spots in front of the hydrangeas and St. Johnswort. Whether I can afford to do that this year is a whole other matter.

Cleaned up the back yard at Edgewater yesterday. Visited Candy; she was much better: no casts, she’s able to read and even shared some recipes from memory!
Ron is off to see his orthopedic surgeon this morning. He’s much better, too.
Extremely windy today, but mostly rain. I’m very happy to be inside, watching the occasional bit of snow or sleet shoot by.
