We were told that proper meditation is performed as if you were watching TV and turned it off.

Donated Blood; Ron Is Afflicted
Ron confessed that the horrific scars on his hands are from poison ivy. He came in contact with it when he was cleaning up the roadside.
His boss insisted that he stay home today and tomorrow. We think that his wearing heavy gloves at work made the condition worse.
I helped Ron keep busy with chores, and he thought up a couple himself, so it wasn’t a wasted day by any means. He drove Alpha to work, mowed the back lawn, drove to Waquoit Garden for mulch, picked up and deposited his paycheck and dropped me off at Christ the King so I could donate blood. I got a gallon pin and hope it wasn’t a mistake.
Ron also repaired a damaged hose and connected it so that we can water in two locations at the same time.
I broke my vow to not shop at Roche and picked up “steam table” food for supper. It was surprisingly good, and I got to see La Tavola, which was happening next door.
Unplugged the bathroom sink yesterday.
My search to find help with a dev project has been frustrating so far.

My Goodness: Rain
Didn’t expect it, happy to see it, unless it rains straight for at least 2 days, won’t be enough.
Hung Ad’s painting this morning. Quite a stunner and as yet, untitled.
Friendly mortgage renegotiation with Ed on the phone yesterday. Trustees meeting ran short, we lost our quorum at quarter to five. I lost my bank card and before realizing it, got a call from Ron that Commons Security had it and was looking for me.
Newest “riverbed” garden vignette.
An Unplanned Visit; Transplanting
Our friend Jeanie came down for a few hours yesterday (Sunday). She talked us into going to the beach, whcih was a great idea and something we don’t do often enough.
There was a clamor for actual food. I made a fast spaghetti sauce and salad.
Today, Ron volunteered to chauffeur. He set up a soaker for the new transplants and watered the U. I put down mulch. Makes a big difference when there are two of us to do the work!
We did the transfer station run. A lot to deal with this time, lots of recycling, garden detritus and 3 or 4 bags of trash.
Strange, savory breakfast: bacon cooked on the grill, chicken livers and onions, grilled squash, pineapple juice.
