Got the new clothes dryer up; first load, forgot clothespins!

Last drop-in to the Winslows. Dead-headed the roses and hydrangeas in the front. The irrigation system seems to be working very well, so I didn’t need to water.
Ron picked up his stupid van today and of course, it died after he drove it off the lot and (fortunately) to the Mobil station at exit 6. I got smart and insisted that they comp him a rental car. Naturally he complains about it: “too big”. It’s just a Chevy Malibu, for heaven’s sake!
I mowed the yard front and back. Ron tooled off to Falmouth for errands – including clothespins!
Forgot to post that we had a pretty decent supper last night – grilled salmon and corn. Then Ron came up with a loathesome dessert idea: orange jello, whipped cream and Grand Marnier.
Grilled beef skewers and spaghetti squash tonight.
