Ron’s Macbook Air arrived today. He is happy again. It is so tiny that I thought at first it was a packing envelope. I’m pleased with it, though, saw another one on the Apple refurbish site today for about the same money but a smaller screen.
Ron has a colonoscopy tomorrow morning, and I felt it wouldn’t be fair to eat when he has to fast.
So, today we have both restricted ourselves to liquids, Jello and popsicles.
I went to the Senior Center this morning. Afterwards, we picked up James’ bass guitar in Hyannis. We stopped at the Stop & Shop in Marstons Mills and brought food and the guitar to Edgewater.
Peter has gotten TOO THIN.
I took off this afternoon with the intention of seeing a garden in Falmouth, but the house had no curb appeal for me, so I went to the beach instead. It was hot and airless, and I left after just a few minutes. Dropped by C-Lab to get a blood test done. Met with Laura afterwards to go over the care of the plants and Lucy for the next two days.
Perhaps as a result of a liquid diet, or maybe because it’s been in the mid-80’s with no breeze, neither of us remembered Ron’s 4:15 appointment for a biopsy until he came tearing out of his room a little before 5.
Fortunately, the appointment was in Mashpee Commons, and his doctor was able to accommodate him.
