Weekend

The New Bedford Symphony concert was fabulous.  Spanish theme that featured a superb guitarist, Jason Vieaux.  We sat next to one of their violists, who’s on leave following shoulder surgery.

I bought tickets for the next concert, in April.  Same section, same row, end seats.

I was nervous about getting there and back; in snow, a 45 minute drive can turn into hours.  We lucked out for weather, though, and Ron got us home without incident.  It was great to wake up in our own house instead of a motel.

We dropped by Mahoney’s farmers market earlier in the day for Organic Farm bacon, spinach and turnip.

Robert came over on Sunday afternoon to prepare a birthday meal for Bonnie.  She emailed and said she didn’t want anything, so we have chocolate bread pudding for the freezer!  We made eggplant parm, too.  Had a nice visit with Robert, including a game of Scrabble.
