At 9:45 this morning, we realized that we had a 10:30 appointment to donate blood at Cape Cod Hospital.
We ran into traffic in Cotuit – probably an accident – but were only a few minutes off schedule.
Our donations finished in the exact same elapsed time: 4 minutes, 55 seconds. This delighted the staff.
They recommended that we take it easy for the rest of the day, so after a stop at Home Depot for Krud Kleaner, we headed to Dennis to the Cape Cod Museum of Art so we could see Emma, the shop and the galleries. Ron loved it; he’s hoped to find good art on the Cape, and this was a start.
On the way, we picked up some beautiful wreaths at Cape Cod Organic Farm in Barnstable. We had a nice chat with a worker who did her undergrad at a school in NH. We’ll probably go back!
After the museum we splurged and had lunch at the Underground Bakery in Dennis, which had been recommended by one of the docents at the museum.
