Taking a Break

Went to Aubuchon for a vacuum cleaner bag and found disposable nitrile gloves in stock!

Did three hours of yard work, mostly digging up grass that had encroached on the U. I cut down the last of the big grasses and set up a drying area for the clods, hoping to retrieve some loam.

Stopped the boston.com subscription. It’s ridiculous that this can’t be done online; I don’t care about City of Boston news; and besides, I’ve had a bad feeling for the Globe since the cowardly Spotlight “team” banned me from their website.

Ron sent me a recipe from the NYTimes for a umami pasta dish. He made it.

I’ve stopped renewing Ancestry and downloaded all the data for my account, but may keep MyHeritage.

Ron and I went for a nice walk through part of the Childs River Conservation Area. We ran into several inconsiderate idiots who were not wearing face masks. Quelle surprise.

I managed to get the screen back in the attic window. Opened both windows for ventilation.
