Woods Hole and Falmouth Frolic

We saw two films, one at Falmouth Academy and the other at Redfield.  Had a light snack at Pie in the Sky then sat in on part of Bittersweet’s first set at Grumpy’s.

“Tribal Justice” was an account of 3 adjudications by female judges who serve the Quechen and Yurok tribes in California.  Two were successful examples of restorative justice.

“Can Hitler Happen Here” ends in the vindication of an elderly Manhattan woman who’s been harassed by greedy neighbors and real estate agents, the cops, the fire department, an ambitious social worker and her own avaricious son.

I regret not visiting Grumpy’s before; beautiful venue for music, but way too hot.  One of the staff sympathized, told us it cools off in October, so we’ll be back.
