We left the Cape for the funeral of Ron’s friend Mike from high school.
It was a moving service, brilliantly done, and I regret that I didn’t get to meet Mike.
We made it back well before Thursday night traffic.
We’d set up the tomato plants on Wednesday and gave all the gardens a good watering. At one point on 495, the car thermometer registered 101 degrees! When we hit the ocean effect gradient, it dropped to the low 70’s, a good reason for why we live here.
