I love this page. Great ideas to reform adoption in the US, a $14 BILLION industry.
Compare and contrast to another loathesome industry, but one that, unlike adoption, receives a lot of negative press: private incarceration. That particular cancer only brings in $4.8 billion per year.
In other words, the buying and selling of children brings in almost 3 times as much as the private prison industry. Any wonder that adoption reform is going to be a much tougher nut than prison reform?
