Emergency Brake

Got the truck back with a new emergency brake.

Ron and I cleared the pile of branches that’s been building up for months.

I blew off one stupid technical assessment but completed another that was successful.

Ron paid for my garden tools at WhatAGrind.

New Faucet; Debit Card Disaster

The old bathroom faucet is warranteed for life, so we were able to get a replacement.  BCL did the install on the 1st.  Phenomenal customer service from Allison at Ferguson.

Ron’s joint account debit card was compromised.  Rockland’s fraud unit messaged him about a charge at a New York CVS.  There was a 15 minute wait to get through to their customer service, so I called our local branch.

I got put on hold, twice.  They were short-handed and although they had customers, stupidly answered the phone.  We got cut off a couple of times.

Luckily, a “floater” picked up the phone the third time I called.  She was able to resolve our problem as opposed to lecturing me about the importance of other customers, blah, blah, blah.

I’ve been cooking this week: lasagna, pork chops, turkey breast.  We will not starve.

The firm in NY state wants me to take a coding test this afternoon using a technology I haven’t touched in seven years which wasn’t in their job description.  Setup?

Ron applied for three jobs this week at Botello, Liberty Liquors and a funeral home in Bourne.

In between filling out applications and keeping me from blowing the roof off the house, he reinstalled the shower curtain rod.
