Creating Bad Customers

Once, I saw a warning in some career advice blog or other advising HR people to be kind to job applicants because they could be customers some day.
Funny thing about that. Today, I sat through a presentation from a local company that wanted to sell me a $47,000+ timeshare package.
That is not a typo: 47 thousand dollars.

I’d expressed interest in working for this company not once, but twice. Both times, I was blown off.
Two guesses what I did. And yes, I didn’t leave until they gave me my promised gifts and no, I didn’t provide them with the names and phone numbers of my nearest and dearest.
