Showtime

Today was the first session of the Cape Technology Workshop.
Seeing all those little faces – 15 of them – what a feeling…

Our total enrollment for the first set of classes(6) is now 35 kids, including SEVEN for our experimental class in Java programming.
Still, aggravation hangs like Joe Btfsplk’s cloud over any endeavor involving computers.
We’ve been working for days on setting up the PC’s at the Brooks Free Library, and yesterday, the whole mobile lab was missing in action at our mid-Cape location (turned out, the tech was at a conference).
Meanwhile, I’m still waiting for the final word on where the PCs are going to be located at the Fairgrounds so that I can do the final config for this Saturday.
