As if contract programming wasn’t difficult enough:
Over the past couple of days (yes, even over the holiday weekend), I received two calls from women with incomprehensible Indian accents recruiting me on behalf of US companies.
As a former HR professional, I was offended by both calls, which were grotesquely unprofessional, bumptious and at the same time presumptuous – quite a trick.
Maybe this is the start of a weird new trend: offshoring technical services recruiting in addition to offshoring technology jobs. Or maybe it’s a scam.
