Professor Jo Handelsman DID respond, and promptly, to my email about the study she chaired on discrimination against women in the sciences.
In her reply, Dr. Handelsman noted that the media failed to report their conclusion that “men and women have essentially the same biases toward women”.
This didn’t surprise me in the least.
She was kind enough to attach copies of the original article in Science and a slew of references, some of which I’ve been able to Google.
