Had friends over for brunch. They brought bagels, cream cheese and lox; a terrific baked egg, bread and bacon dish; and blueberry pie. We served a too-sweet sangria and a not sweet enough fruit salad. Oh, well, win some, lose some.
Gorgeous sky last night and tonight.
It was hot and humid all day. The tomatoes love it. Moved the potatoes out of the cold frame and started taking off the dead stems. One had a tiny potato!
The grass garden at Edgewater is overgrown, as I feared it would become. I’m thinking about transplanting part of it here in the Fall.
