Tory leader David “Golden Boy” Cameron was absolutely right, both morally and politically, when he attacked British PM Gordon Brown in Parliament this week for Brown’s repeated refusal to say whether his administration will thoroughly investigate the horrific death of 17 month old boy “Baby P”.
Scroll down to the bottom of this story from yesterday’s Daily Mail and perhaps you’ll see why: all of the on-the-public-payroll protagonists, including the $150,000 a year director, involved in this unbelievable tale of government ineptitude are female cutie-pies.
Note particularly the photo of the social worker who was either too stupid, too self-absorbed or too incompetent to notice the 50 injuries on this child’s body, including a broken back, four days before his death.
I’m sure her big brown eyes, long hair and high cheekbones will allow her to not only escape prosecution for criminal incompetence but also to keep her government job. Who cares that she failed to notice – in 60 home visits – that a tiny child was being tortured to death.
If that weren’t bad enough, the geniuses over there appointed the same woman who runs the staggeringly inept children’s services department to head the investigatory board!
That’s right: Sharon Shoesmith investigated herself!
Rather than subject her precious employees to sacking or criminal prosecution, the good Ms. Shoesmith
