Scandinavia Dreamin’

Given our fabulous smorgasbord meal last Saturday and this afternoon’s mid-December light behind the pine trees in our back yard, I could imagine us being in Sweden or Denmark right now.

To sustain the daydream a little longer, I made us a cold micro-smorgasbord: chicken liver pate prepared this morning, Jarlsberg and Cheddar cheeses, pepper rings, balsamic fig spread, fruit compote from yesterday, apple with cinnamon and sugar, orange segments, melba toast.
