Thought about going to Providence or to the Cape Verdean festival at Onset but ended up doing very little here today. Ron is correct, I’ve been spending time recently on budget and paying bills, quite stressful. It’s also been very humid, which takes the starch out of me even faster than heat.
Truth is, I’d rather sit on the deck and look at the birds and the garden than almost anything else. The hibiscus are in full bloom; right now, there are over a dozen bright red flowers the size of dessert plates.
