The Long and Mostly Short of It

I am NOT interested in being Joan of Arc, leader of young men, aka Team Lead, Group Leader or any other designation hinting of management, indirect or otherwise.

In addition, I am not interested in being a follower of either young or old men with an unseemly interest in Design Patterns and Types of Inheritance, these being indicators of cultish proclivities that degenerate easily into dogmatism.

#5: it is very cool that Peter was interviewed on national radio earlier this week, on PBS’s Marketplace.
#6: one of James’s bon mots from the Newport trip motivated me to clean up all the Christmas gear the night I got back from the Wellington: it was December 30, and we passed a house that was still strung with garish Christmas lights, causing James to exclaim, “Christmas is over – why are you still showing off?!”
