Service for Tribal Elder

We were able to attend the service for David Weeden’s mother yesterday at the Meeting House. It was almost two hours long. Luckily, we had a place to sit, and the old church was a comfortable temperature.

It was quite a memorial to her place as the “heart of the family”. She was greatly respected and loved by many friends and relatives.

Select Board members, the Town Manager and Assistant Manager had attended the wake. We saw the Faulkners, the DeSorghers and Arden. Everyone else seemed to be a member of the Tribe.

Steve worked on the deck railings all day. He’s making it all look brand new.

Went to Home Depot for more stain and to BJ’s for groceries.

Woke up around 11:30, couldn’t get back to sleep until after 1:30.
