Labor Day Weekend; Ron Is My Hero

We joined the Move to Remove standout at Falmouth Green yesterday morning.  Nice to see familiar faces from Occupy, like Sandy (below right), Peter, Paul and Joyce.  Pix by Paul.

It rained earlier today, so good that Ron mowed the lawn yesterday.

I misplaced/lost my keys.  Ron was nice enough to drive us to North Falmouth to look for them around 8:45 last evening, so I treated to ice cream at the Holy Cow.

I went to the BofA parking lot, Falmouth Green and Stop & shop this afternoon.  Got to see the surf at Falmouth Heights beach but didn’t stop.  After dump run,  Ron found my keys in the potholder drawer.  Ordered a Tile Mate.

Now, if we could only find Ron’s tweed cap, which disappeared somewhere between here and Chestertown.

Last evening, I bought shoes and matching Black Watch plaid flannel shirts at the new LL Bean store in Mashpee Commons.  25% plus another 15% off for opening an LL Bean credit card for a total savings of around 36%: even better than the employee discount.  I plan to get rid of all my old, beat up flannel shirts, which have served me well but have seen better days.

Did some weeding yesterday.

We spotted a plastic but nice fake bamboo plant at the transfer station.  Ron is bringing it to Edgewater for Peter’s office and picking up Robert from work.  My stomach rebelled after I wolfed down french fries this afternoon from my favorite hole in the wall.  Ron, who certainly is my hero today, made a pot of tea before he left.  Feeling much better.
