Quiet Fourth

No thunderstorms, in fact, no rain of any kind yesterday, which was nice for fireworks and not so great for the gardens. Maybe it’ll be another rainless summer, all humidity, no real precipitation.

Had a quiet holiday, did a lot of paperwork, some laundry, a little coding, food shopping, visits with neighbors, a trip to one of the local garden centers under new ownership and planting of bargains thereafter, Gazanias ($5 for a flat), a couple of Plumbagos, a Foxglove.
Mashpee’s fireworks are scheduled for tomorrow night; we’ll see if the weather holds.
