Because the 15th falls on a Saturday, and Monday is a holiday in Massachusetts, I have until next Tuesday, April 18, to file my state and federal tax returns. It says so, right on irs.gov.
Paying taxes is a rotten business, and I am happy that I don’t have to pull an all-nighter to do so this year. I can fit the figuring in to the rest of this weekend’s schedule, which includes getting my truck serviced, possibly helping a friend move, and minding Max the cat while P&B are on vacation.
Oh, yeah, and Easter is two days away.
