Having suffered our first hard frost, we are now experiencing the phenomenon known as Indian Summer – right now, it’s close to 70 degrees outside and almost stultifyingly humid.
The hydrangea leaves are black and wilted, but a number of plants are hanging on. One could easily walk around in shorts and a t-shirt this morning.
Highs are supposed to settle down into the 40’s and 50’s soon enough, and I’m reminded we HAVE had snow storms on Thanksgiving, only a week and a day away.
