What one thing are you most looking forward to . . .
1. …today?
Seeing the happy faces of my friends when I bring Krispy Kremes back from Rhode Island. I’m dropping Pete off at his hotel in Warwick so that he can make an early flight to Macworld tomorrow morning, and there’s a Krispy Kreme shop about 15 minutes away.
I’m also looking forward to some 1:1 time with my son, but don’t tell him I said that!
2. …over the next week?
Seeing the happy faces of my customers when I deliver on some important project milestones.
3. …this year?
Bush getting booted this November.
4. …over the next five years?
Real progress in the adoption reform movement, such that a majority of Americans join every other developed nation in seeing closed adoption as an ugly remnant of the past.
5. …for the rest of your life?
I’d like to see a woman – any woman – elected President of the United States, and since I’m wishing, I’d like it to be for two terms.
