So, it’s open season in Texas on kids this April, which happens to be Child Abuse Prevention Month: li’l Deanna Laney, bless her, was aquitted<\/a> of the murder of her 6 and 8 year old children by reason of insanity.<\/p>


\nYa know, it fascinates me how low-rent baby-killers like li’l Deanna and Andrea Yates managed to escape the death penalty with their “poor pathetic me” pleas for sympathy to a court system that seems mired in stupidity.
\nIt fascinates me because these two broads have immense, gigantic egos, so swollen in fact that both of them believed they were divinely chosen by G*d — “just as Mary was chosen to bear Christ — to kill (their) children as a test of faith and then serve as witness(es) after the world ended.”
\nWhen I was a young mother, I lived with the constant fear that my child would be taken away from me because I was homely and wore glasses and was, therefore, “unworthy” of being a parent.
\nBut in America, I guess if you’re cute, even if you’re a psychopath, you don’t have to worry about stuff like that.
\nHeck, you can even kill your children and get away with it. In fact, if you’re cute, you’re pretty much guaranteed, post-filicide, to have a loving and devoted husband who forgives you, understands you and wouldn’t consider divorcing you, let alone strangling you with his bare hands.
