{"id":789,"date":"2007-05-05T06:58:09","date_gmt":"2007-05-05T11:58:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecapeblog.com\/wp\/?p=789"},"modified":"2007-05-05T06:58:09","modified_gmt":"2007-05-05T11:58:09","slug":"republican-debate-redux","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecapeblog.com\/?p=789","title":{"rendered":"Republican Debate, Redux"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Speaking of people who can&#8217;t read: the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.msn.com\/id\/16711064\/\" target=\"_blank\">political pundits<\/a> on MSNBC consider Rudy Giuliani the most likely to win the Republican Party primary.<br \/>\nEvidently they didn&#8217;t bother to look at the stats on their own <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.msn.com\/id\/18421356\/\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>, which registers the &#8220;votes&#8221; of 76,436 viewers following last Thursday night&#8217;s debate.<\/p><p><!--more--><br \/>\nGiuliani got a 40% negative rating versus only 26% positive<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s just as bad for MSNBC&#8217;s other supposed frontrunners, Romney (36% vs. 29%) and McCain (43% vs. 20%).<br \/>\nRon Paul, on the other hand, still has the highest positive rating: 34%.<br \/>\nIncredibly, MSNBC ranks Huckabee and Brownback, two of the three candidates who don&#8217;t believe in evolution, a credible #5 and #6.
