We were lucky enough to see blues legend John Mayall and his superhuman band (Rocky Athas, Greg Rzab, Jay Davenport) last night at Payomet. Poor Ron went early to get rush (“Rain or Shine”) seats; I made a mad, 2-hour dash from New Bedford to meet him. We got excellent seats, though. It was a sell-out crowd with nine SROs.<\/p>

We decided independently that John Mayall and Ed Nowik must have been separated at birth. They could easily be brothers.<\/p>
