\nLast weekend, Bob had his “overnight”. This is a child who a year ago was living on air.
\nThis time, he ate 4 servings of oatmeal, bacon, and two bowls of cold cereal for breakfast. Then for lunch, he polished off a serving and a half of ravioli. Somewhere in the middle of all this, he made himself a milkshake with soy milk, oranges and orange juice. There were snacks as well.
\nLast night, I kept the boys next door, ages 5 and 11, company while their folks went to a meeting.
\nAfter eating supper, they each asked for sandwiches – PB&J and PB&Fluff – and polished them off. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had some cereal before bedtime.
\nI don’t remember this with Peter and his friends when they were pre-adolescent, but they must have been the same, surely.
