We got a fair amount of rain last night and this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jett and I dropped off a book at the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ron and I have been busy with laundry this morning. The bathroom smelled horrible when I got up at 6:45 or so. Turns out there was a half load of clothing that had been sitting there, likely for over a day. I washed and dried everything and they seem to be fine now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I also did a wash with bleach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Went through the Junk Mail folder and deleted almost all of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s been cloudy off and on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We saw a story on PBS NewsHour last night about ChatGTP virtual “friends”. They’d interviewed a man who created a female companion who meets his emotional needs better than his wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I guess if your needs don’t require a living being, that might make sense. At least in his case, he felt it was beneficial. Personally, I wouldn’t find that helpful since my needs of a partner variety are pretty much physical. By that I mean I could use someone who would declutter and organize their “stuff” and build things, like a beautiful, big shed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Its been hard for both of us to get in gear. I changed the sheets today but took no pleasure in doing it. Did some half-hearted weeding in the garden next to the driveway. We set out our meds for the week. Harangued Ron about putting away the coins that have been on our card table in the living room for months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
