Ron helped by directing traffic and had a good chat with the driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I had a mammogram this morning.  We had yogurt sundaes and listened to a lecture on high blood pressure at Harper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the Labor Day weekend I did a lot of weeding along the driveway and in the corner garden.  I think Ron hauled it all to the transfer station along with recyclables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I got a call on Saturday or Sunday about plants I&#8217;d ordered months ago.  Picked them up at Holiday Brook Farm in Dalton.  Brought Jett who barked at their ostriches: how helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yesterday (Monday) I baked a vegetable pie.  Outstanding but a lot of work.  Baked eggplant this morning before my visit to North Adams Regional Hospital Imaging Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new lilac arrived today.  It&#8217;s sitting in a bucket getting rehydrated.  Looked pathetic when I unpacked it, hope it&#8217;s okay.  Still figuring it where to put it.
