{"id":22065,"date":"2025-01-22T21:02:32","date_gmt":"2025-01-23T02:02:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecapeblog.com\/?p=22065"},"modified":"2025-01-22T21:02:33","modified_gmt":"2025-01-23T02:02:33","slug":"cooking-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecapeblog.com\/?p=22065","title":{"rendered":"Cooking"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I&#8217;ve spent too much time on political news and YouTube videos, but did cook today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Made two kids of muffins this morning, blueberry and chocolate chip, and a vegetarian lasagna for late lunch\/early supper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m very pleased with the lasagna.  Briefly sauteed spinach and peppers and added those to ricotta, parmesan and mushrooms for the filling.  Ran out of oven-ready lasagna noodles so used angel hair pasta for the top layer, and it turned out fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Challenged Ron to bake a wheat flour spice cake from scratch tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Got an email announcing that I&#8217;ve been accepted to the Advanced Manufacturing Technology program starting next month at McCann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Still waiting to hear when Greylock plans to close my loan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve spent too much time on political news and YouTube videos, but did cook today.Made two kids of muffins this morning, blueberry and chocolate chip, and a vegetarian lasagna for late lunch\/early supper.I&#8217;m very pleased with the lasagna.
