\nMud and manure are a gardener’s mainstays, essential to the job of raising healthy, productive plants.
\nThese staples of the gardener’s craft are too precious to be throttled about by “faded glory” guys like Zell Miller and even Bob Dole.
\nWhat WILL it take for prominent politicians to keep their hands out of the mud and the bulls* while preaching from their bully pulpits?
\nSpeaking the truth about the failure of the war against terrorism; tolerance for people of a non-traditional sexual orientation; fiscal responsibility; a pledge to end the pandering to the pharmaceutical industry and other special interests; and a real commitment to protect the environment would be a far superior toolset for use in election campaigns.
\nAnd the same goes for you, Senator Elizabeth Dole, with your ridiculous, offensive assertion that marriage “between a man and a woman” is “the cornerstone of civilization”.
\nWhat does that make the 48% of American households (82 million people and growing)<\/a> who are single – chopped liver?
\nOr will you take a pledge to stop spending our tax money, since it obviously comes from reprobates who shake society’s very foundation with their shameful unmarried status?
