Here’s an update from the Barnstable County Register of Deeds:
\nFor May 2004, the average sale price of property in Mashpee was $378,800, not taking account of sales over $1,000,000.
\nThat’s a 28 PERCENT increase in individual property sales value from May 2003.
\nBy comparison, for Barnstable County as a whole, the average sale price for properties under $1,000,000 was $367,247, an increase of 14.2% from this time last year.<\/p>
\nI’m a homeowner, but will be looking to buy another piece of property in a year or two, so I have very mixed feelings about these numbers – glad that I invested in the Cape but not looking forward to getting back into what is clearly a seller’s market.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
