Today, on the eve of New Year’s Eve, I’m planning to pick up Robert in a couple of hours for the UU church’s family game night.
\nHe’s been going to the youth group and decided he’d like to help out tonight, which is pretty nice of him. He likes the other kids, so I hope there’ll be a few there.<\/p>
\nTomorrow, I’m taking the kids to Providence for our annual New Year’s Eve out-of-state overnight.
\nThe out of state part is important because Rhode Island is home to the Newport Creamery which is, in turn, home of the Awful Awful.
\nWe’d been going to Newport, but they cancelled their New Year’s Eve celebration and fireworks this year, a big disappointment.
