The four-part faucet attachment fell apart almost immediately, and not all of the sprinklers are working.  I need to make replacements and adjustments to prevent pooling of water.<\/p><p><!--more--><br \/>\nAside from that, the new azaleas in the front seem to be doing quite well.  Poor things were ragtag when I got them, but they are nice plants now.<br \/>\nI put in a couple of purple spirea in the area where the hated fairy rose used to be.<br \/>\nFound a few autumn decorations, ivy and red flowers, for the little window boxes on the shed, gave the rest to CM.<br \/>\nReplaced a lavender that had succumbed to a gray fungus.  Keeping an eye on the Miss Kim that hasn&#8217;t been doing so well.<br \/>\nMowed Peter&#8217;s front and back yard over the weekend.  Told the kids an hour of groundkeeping burns up the same amount of calories in a can of non-diet soda (actually, I think it&#8217;s more).<br \/>\nToday is the first day of school for the boys.
