{"id":1257,"date":"2009-05-23T18:26:27","date_gmt":"2009-05-23T23:26:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecapeblog.com\/wp\/?p=1257"},"modified":"2009-05-23T18:26:27","modified_gmt":"2009-05-23T23:26:27","slug":"gardeners-diary-seeds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecapeblog.com\/?p=1257","title":{"rendered":"Gardener&#8217;s Diary &#8211; Seeds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Inspired by the magnificent stands of daisies and lupine at the new Sagamore flyover, I&#8217;m finally getting seeds in.<br \/>\nI used up a packet from last year of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.botanicalinterests.com\/store\/search_results_detail.php?seedtype=F&seedid=228\" target=\"_blank\">Botanical Interests Terrific Trailers<\/a>.<\/p><p><!--more--><br \/>\nLast year, I planted their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.botanicalinterests.com\/store\/search_results_detail.php?seedtype=F&seedid=218\" target=\"_blank\">Grandmother&#8217;s Cut Garden<\/a> variety pack, and some flowers have come back.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m using Carolyn&#8217;s Earth Boxes again, but am hoping this year&#8217;s crop will be shorter.<br \/>\nNo window boxes at 11 Edgewater this time, and my perennial gardens are pretty much full, so I&#8217;m way under budget.
