He is worn out from the rigors of attacking and hissing at the brushes I used to groom him today.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, my truck is expected to be in the shop for about two weeks,  due to a recall of 2002 Toyota Tacomas.  The frame is rotting away, and the entire thing needs to be replaced.<br \/>\nI get the work done for nothing, of course, plus a loaner car, a Kia Spectra, plus $500 worth of parts and labor for my trouble.<br \/>\nCould be a lot worse, considering that I used the truck this past Monday to transport stuff from Milton to the Mashpee Transfer Station.<br \/>\nThe tech at the dealership said it was okay to drive, so I guess we weren&#8217;t in any danger, but it&#8217;s unsettling nonetheless, especially since it got a good report from another dealership less than a month ago.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My ancient (age 14) cat has his own bed, which he shares when one of the grandkids sleeps over.
