Ron made coffee, put breakfast together and made the bed this morning.<\/p>

I had a pretty good night, slept solidly from 4 to 7:30.<\/p>

Still muggy and horrible this morning; not missing being outside at all.<\/p>

Visit from one of the RNA nurses. \u00a0She redid the bandages on my leg, a big help. \u00a0I cancelled PT, not being sure how much Tufts is going to cover, and I want to be sure I have sessions when the splint comes off.<\/p>

Trying to do leg exercises, I pulled a muscle in my back. \u00a0Ron cured me with a BenGay rub.<\/p>

\"img_0382\"<\/a> \"img_0381\"<\/a>Laura came over for a visit and dropped off a gorgeous orchid: first I’ve ever owned.<\/p>

I was very pleased to be able to grill in the evening. \u00a0Ron got back\u00a0around 7 after dropping off Robert and stopping for a few groceries.<\/p>

He was in a strange mood. \u00a0When I told him I’d made burgers, he seemed disappointed.<\/p>

Later, he said “We talked about salmon”. \u00a0This was my Meal on Wheels, and I was more than willing to share it, but he wouldn’t have any part of it. \u00a0I kept asking him why but he clammed up.<\/p>

It occurred to me that he’d probably been through a similar convalescence with wifey No. 1. \u00a0He didn’t admit to that but was silent and sullen the rest of the night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
