Zip code isn’t necessarily deterministic when it comes to developing an appreciation for the arts, an understanding of history, interesting friendships or a refined aesthetic. Seems to me those are the benefits of being in the upper/upper-middle class, and all of these can be had for free.

Two runs yesterday, one with the last of Laura’s unbelievable brush removal from one? two? seasons ago and one with our weed detritus.

At last: an explanation for Ron’s Evil Hand.

We made it to Jenny’s Edibles today and planted radishes, squash and milkweed.

Transplanted some of the beans from downstairs as well.

Did the usual chores.  Easy transfer station run.  Rainy and cool most of the day until about 4 or so.

Finished mowing today, sides and back yards, and put up new utility hangers in the shed.

Have been listening to Essentially Ellington since.

We began Ron’s birthday Trifecta with an outstanding meal at Bobby Byrnes last evening and a “Ronald G. MacInnis I don’t wannit unless it’s free” cake from the Senior Center.   Many of Ron’s friends and family sent greetings via Facebook!
