Progress…

This morning’s frustrating experience with Microsoft MSDN notwithstanding (no one can find my subscription ID), this week is going reasonably well.

I’ve been approved for Dell Small Business Financing, which seems not a great bargain, more an ace in the hole kind of thing.
I’ve GOT to get a laptop.
Yesterday started with an appointment with the dentist, about 2 years overdue, and ended with a flu shot and (following that) a birthday party at a friends’ house.
I met with my landlord, my new business attorney whom I like very much, and had a con call with Microsoft and the new Executive Director of the Cape Cod Technology Council.
Got to see Bonnie and the kids, dropped off a check to pay the “leaf guy” today so Peter would be surprised by a clean lawn when he gets back from SF, but we were thwarted by the weather – some 2 inches of snow fell last night/this morning.
Oh, well.
Tonight, having got my banking records and supplies sorted out, I’ll be going through stacks of DVD’s that have been accumulating from the Microsoft Empower program. Tomorrow morning, I may re-install VS.NET, it’s been acting badly and I can’t find anything on either Usenet or MSDN to explain it.
For the rest of the day, I’ll be coding.
If this sounds like a catch up with your life and your business week – it is.
And fingers crossed that Cathy gets her job offer today.
