Code Camp, The Return

I just got back from a two-day seminar in Waltham with about 400 other Microsoft developers at the second edition of Code Camp, an opportunity to learn from experts in .NET and to talk with programmers from all over New England.

It was a good way to spend the weekend, far better than the exercise in masochism that watching the Red Sox has become.
It occurred to me at some point today, though, that much as I enjoy living on the Cape, it does “bug” me that we are so far from a real technology center. Kind of like Peter feels when he goes to Manhattan.
I carpooled with a colleague who suggested we get to monthly training sessions more often. Maybe travelling with someone else would make the “schlep” more palatable. It’s certainly worth a try.
