Gardener’s Diary

Ed and Mike paid a surprise visit yesterday to start work on a new wraparound deck.
They tore down the old deck and put in cement posts for the new one.
The loam will be arriving in about an hour and a half for the back yard reconstruction project.

This is our week at Sea Mist, and James and I have gone swimming the last two days.
He stayed over last night and is still asleep, poor little guy – we’ve had a busy last couple of days.
James, Emme and Robert came with me to Sea Mist yesterday evening. We got a late start because I had a doctor’s appointment, a check up.
We ordered calzones from Zoe’s and, except for Emme and James’ roughhousing, had a nice time.
Mr. Fluffles has learned how to jump onto my bed, which is pretty remarkable for an old fellow. It’s high and I haven’t provided any “handicapped” accommodation.
