Acquitted of murder by reason of insanity, Deanna La June was committed to a Texas state hospital. And her husband, Keith, is being asked to contribute to the whopping $14,000 a month in medical expenses currently being borne by the taxpayers.
Citing “personality conflicts”, Keith Laney, who at the time of trial promised to “stand by” his wife, has filed for divorce and sole custody of their youngest child, who was permanently crippled by his mother.
Ponying up a chunk of $168k a year on an air compressor repairman’s salary? Sounds like a serious personality conflict to me.
